We are excited to release new features for both our HRIS and Benefits Administration modules. Additionally, we have made a few enhancements for our Broker partners in our Broker Portal module in our latest release. Please read on to find out more and as always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions.
With added functionality in the Flock’s Roles and Permissions, HR admins can now build custom roles with read/write rules for not only all employees in the company, but also their own profile, and/or a specific group of employees. Note that existing system roles of the employee and manager can be modified as well for what they can view on their own profile and subordinates profiles (if applicable).
Note: This can be configured by admins from the roles section under the admin settings menu.
You can now create a custom welcome for new hires when they log in to the Flock platform for the first time. Delight your new hires by incorporating videos, images, texts and links in the welcome message. By customizing your new hire onboarding experience, Flock helps increase the new employee engagement. Stay tuned for more cool features to enhance your onboarding experience in our upcoming releases.
Note: This message can be customized by admins from the advanced section under the admin settings menu.
The hire date will now be visible as a part of the onboarding tasks assigned/emails for new employees. This update is helpful for the onboarding staff to know the exact date of joining for the new hires, and to prepare accordingly for their initial training and setup. The offboarding date will also be visible as a part of the closing tasks assigned to the employees.
Furthermore, employment and compensation change history can be tracked with their effective dates and admins can easily generate these reports on the Flock platform. We understand that people's decision change or errors do happen so we easily accommodate for changes to hire date, employment and compensation information.
The Flock’s HRIS and Ben Admin platform now offers a selection of filters in its custom reporting section, allowing HR Admins to easily manage their employee reports. You can narrow your report outcomes to include only those records of interest to you.
For instance, you can create filters such as Department > Marketing, Employment Type > Part-Time, Work Location > San Francisco and so on. Once you select the required filters, a simplified report is generated on the basis of your applied custom filters.
Flock now easily incorporate miscellaneous plans like 401K, Wellness Perks, EAP, etc to keep employees informed about the additional benefits provided by their company. Thereby ensuring effective benefits communication to their employees. These plans are added as a separate plan type in the broker portal and will support a brief description of the program, multiple external links and documents. Rates may be added for plans with fixed costs.
The Flock team has analyzed the IRS Section 22 Life Event Rules and incorporated this logic into the system. Where the rules allow for interpretation, we have added the ability to limit changes if the client deems it necessary. This configuration is located in the company configurations page in the broker portal.
Age-banded/composite rates were previously only supported for medical plans. As of this release, we have added support for this rating structure to voluntary plans. A refenrence rate sheet can be downloaded in the plans rate/configuration page.
In order to improve the open enrollments reporting functionality, we have added an additional set of reports based on your different plan changes:
Note: All change reports compare Current Year vs Next Year
