Front end Engineer

Flock is seeking a frontend engineer who is passionate about UI engineering, has a keen eye for design and great instincts for how to improve the user experience. You're a creative and thorough thinker who values working with a collaborative team that uses an iterative process to build elegant and engaging experiences. You will do
  • This newly created position will work with the engineering team to make Flock’s interface the best user experience possible. Your mantra is to leave the codebase better-factored and better-tested than when you found it.
  • Own the end­-to-­end user experience for all product features
  • Design and build a simple, beautiful and polished product
  • Collaborate with members of the engineering and customer success teams
You will need
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Worked on a product with real-world users.
  • Innate desire to create pixel-perfect interfaces and making seamless interactions with end users.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Knowledge of React and/or Backbone.js is a plus.
  • Good understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs.

You will do

You will need

Flock is seeking a highly ­motivated and inquisitive technical contributor to help execute the strategic direction for the company. You have a “can do” attitude and proven extensive experience building innovative web applications using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript.
You will do
  • Build and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript in Digital Ocean and AWS.
  • Architect, design, and implement beautiful and pragmatic applications.
  • Ensure application development principles, standards, and best practices are followed for each project.
You will need
  • 2-­4 years of experience designing, developing and delivering web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (Backbone.js, React.js is a plus).
  • Ability to develop, maintain and optimize secure and scalable multi-tier web applications.
  • Ability to iterate quickly on ideas and push them out to a customer in a continuous fashion.

Inside Sales Manager

A successful sales executive who will represent Flock to the customers and the customers to Flock. You have a ‘customer first’ mindset when it comes to solving complex problems and uses analytical thought and good judgment to identify innovative solutions that work for the customer and the company. You communicate Flock’s roadmap and capabilities to customers and present the customers’ needs to the executive team. You have the ability to explain and train - leading the sales team by example. You are an excellent negotiator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
You will do
  • Build and manage the Inside Sales team charged with qualifying opportunities, securing demonstrations and meetings with key decision makers and closing new business.
  • Target customers are SMB’s in the continental United States.
  • Develop and enforce processes to track and improve the performance of team members based on call volume, quality of meetings, quality of opportunities, close rate and more.
  • Work closely with management team to ensure overall team success in relation to defined metrics.
  • Daily sales coaching focused on finding the balance between consultative, value selling and reasonably transactional sales cycles (30-60 days).
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve sales processes, drive accountability, and raise the standard of team performance to increase revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep current with all Flock product information, pricing, and contract terms.
You will need
  • Experience and previous success managing sales teams to over-quota performance.
  • Minimum 5 years software sales or technical sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years of successful leadership experience.
  • Experience selling a marketing solution highly preferred.
  • Proven success in a quota-bearing sales role.
  • Experience with forecasting and managing territories, teams, and accounts in Salesforce.com and related reporting & analysis.
  • Experience with solution/value selling and demonstrated success selling a premium-priced solution in a competitive market.
  • Experience supporting customers in a leadership capacity to structure deals, act as a go-to for long-term relationship establishment, and effectively negotiate contracts and purchase details.
  • Motivated by individual and team achievement, proven ability to drive the team environment and contribute to team’s success at all levels.
